Me, Blackberry Picking!
As I often like to share, health and wellbeing is our greatest asset and investment. Sadly the majority of people do not seem to take this very seriously, and end up having to deal with illnesses and dis-eases that could, in most cases, be prevented.
By putting the practice of prevention and maintenance into place on a daily basis, we increae our chances of staying in good health by a consideable amount, physically, emotionally, mentally. and spiritually.
It also gives us a great sense of self-worth and self-love. Getting to the stage of having a greater sense of self-worth and self-love is one of the key factors in doing this prevention and maintenance work. I know from the work on myself and with the hundreds of clients I have worked with on this, the benefits are huge.
I take my health and wellbeing seriously. I have been very focused on it for many years, building up the commitment and daily routine over time. Right now I am more focused than ever as I start to live through my 60's. Having been committed through my 40's and 50's, I'm now feeling the benefits. I'm not in ill health - in fact, I'm in great shape!
Over the past 20 years I have only had a couple of boughts of light 'illnesses', and have only had to revert to Big Pharma-medicine three times - each time using Paracetamol to help with some nasty physical pain (Wisdom tooth, back pain, and rib pain from bending a rib!).
I rarely take supplements and vitamins, preferring to 'forage' in nature and collect my own herbs, flowers, and fruits. If not eating them, I like to put them in my water bottle and drink the goodness daily. By doing this I get to tune into nature and receive the things I need in the right seasons. Currently here in the UK I am feasting on Blackberries!
Sometimes things come along at the right time. At the beginning of the year I was introduced to LifeWave 'patches'. I initially said 'no' to trying them, because, as I have mentioned, I generally don't take or use any 'health products' that are manufactured.
However, I said I would try for a couple of days, as they are non-transdermal (nothing actualy goes into the body) and they are easy to use (simply apply a patch to the skin).
