I have spent quite a lot of time visiting, working and living in South Africa. During this time I have worked with people from many African countries and cultural backgrounds including Mozambican, Afrikaans, Malawi, Namibian, Zulu, Tswana and Xhosa peoples.

I have worked mostly with men and male youth in Africa, although much of my trauma counselling and psychotherapy training was with both boys and girls (7 years old - 18 years old) in a village orphanage back in 2003-2004. I worked on an organic farm as an organic farm development consultant for almost two years with a work force of 28 people, representing about eight different language and cultural groups.

My continued connection with Africa is with my Spirit of Africa Journeys.

The next 21 day journey is in August/September 2027
I am taking expressions of interest - please contact me for a conversation.

Above is a sketch of where we will be travelling to.

A previous Spirit of Africa Journey
We began our journey together with a morning walk and then lunch in the Botanical Gardens in Cape Town, South Africa, before setting of on an adventure to several sacred sites for a few days with
my good friend Dean Liprini, who has been walking the land and researching ancient sites for over 30 years ... We also had some time to  explore the city and what it had to offer.

From there we flew to Johannesburg for a couple of days - and got a special treat of visiting Botshabelo - a caring village and home to many children ...

We then flew to Namibia and stay on the banks of the Zambezi River. - where we saw lots of hippos, crocodiles, and many other water creatures. From here we visited Chobe National park in Botswana - the home of 100.000 elephants!,  and Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. During this time we also visited cultural villages and met traditional people.

Then it was a flight back to South Africa to Kwa-Zulu Natal to be treated to a 3 day - 3 night walking safari in the Umfolozi Wilderness Park, with my good friend and co-facilitator, respected Zulu man - Sicelo.

Here we had the opportunity to get up close to Africa's Big 5, and sleep out under the stars!

We then flew back to Cape Town to complete our journey. ...

As this is a 'spiritual' journey, the mix of people has to be right so that we create a harmonious energy. This means I have a conversation with everyone interested to make sure they are a good fit for this journey.

Please contact me to have that conversation. I'll answer any questions you have.

There are only 6 places for this journey so please do not wait until it's too late ... contact me today.

This is a drug and alcohol free journey (with an occasional beer or wine perhaps to relax in the evenings).
