Spirit of Africa Journeys with Adrian

I have spent quite a lot of time visiting, working and living in Africa. Mostly this has been in South Africa. I have also been to Botswana, Namibia and Zimbabwe. During this time I have worked with people from many African countries and cultural backgrounds including Mozambican, Afrikaans, Malawi, Namibian, Zulu, Tswana and Xhosa peoples.

I have worked mostly with men and male youth in Africa, although much of my trauma counselling and psychotherapy training was with both boys and girls (7 years old- 18 years old) in a village orphanage back in 2003-2004. I worked on an organic farm as an organic farm development consultant for almost two years with a work force of 28 people, representing about eight different language and cultural groups.

I travel to Africa every second year and take a group of people on a 21 day Spirit of Africa Journey where we visit South Africa, Botswana, Namibia and Zimbabwe. During this time we visit various cultural villages and meet traditional peoples. One of my co-facilitators in South Africa is a well respected Zulu man.
